Scott Day is the Chief Technology Officer for Sol Systems, overseeing all aspects of information technology strategy and execution. He and his team are focused on scaling the company’s technology and customer offerings, advancing its mission.

Previously, Mr. Day was Chief Technology Officer at SoundExchange where he successfully transitioned the organization to a cloud-native platform. This transition enabled the company to rapidly scale and expand its royalty operations and distributions. Prior to his role at SoundExchange, Mr. Day served as Chief Technology Officer at The Motley Fool. At the Fool, he led IT-driven initiatives to expand internationally, introduce a mobile user experience, adopt cloud computing, and create an internal training program to bridge the gap between IT and business. Before his time at the Motley Fool, he was Vice President of Application Software and Analytics Practice at In-Q-Tel, where he led the practice in investing in innovative software and analytics technologies, vetting deal opportunities, and managing technology delivery from portfolio companies.

Mr. Day holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S. in Management of IT from the University of Virginia.
