LINCOLN, NE -- Mesner Development Co., GenPro Energy Solutions, and Sol Systems today announced the launch of N-Solar, a new collaborative initiative that aims to assist Nebraska public power entities in their efforts to integrate more solar energy throughout the state. The initiative was formally launched Monday evening at the League of Nebraska Municipalities’ Midwinter Conference.
The N-Solar Initiative will offer a seamless, complete package of expert development services and a secure, competitive source of financing for municipal utilities, electric cooperatives, and public power districts throughout Nebraska that seek to add solar power to their energy mix.
“Through N-Solar, we will be better able to provide every Nebraska municipality with high quality, affordable community solar integrated with the local public power districts and municipal utilities,” said Cliff Mesner, CEO of Mesner Development Co. “The N-Solar Initiative offers a seamless, complete package of expert development and construction services and a secure, competitive source of financing.”

To date, the companies comprising N-Solar have developed, constructed, or financed a combined 17.6 megawatts of solar electric generating capacity across Nebraska.
