Michael Gibson serves as the Vice President of IT at Sol Systems, focusing on tactical execution against Sol Systems' IT strategy and ensuring that the company’s technology infrastructure continues to enable rapid growth.

Prior to taking on his current role, Michael led the IT group at Sol Systems, helping to lay the foundation for the company as it exists today; he has also worked as a software engineer supporting a variety of organizations including Ariadne Genomics, LLC, the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the Rimm-Kaufman Group (now a part of Merkle), and Falling Creek Design Group, a company that he helped found.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Virginia.
