Richard Romero serves as Sol Systems' Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Romero brings over 34 years of experience in the energy sector focused on accounting, project and corporate finance, business and corporate development, asset management, risk management and investor relations.   

Prior to joining Sol Systems, Mr. Romero served as Vice President of Treasury and Global Project Finance at First Solar.  Before First Solar, Mr. Romero held senior commercial finance roles at Royal Dutch Shell and Ashmore Energy International.

Mr. Romero earned a BA in Finance from New Mexico State University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
