Through this contract, the Grand Island Utilities Department further diversified their own energy portfolio and receive a low fixed rate by using solar energy without any upfront expenditure. This project was made possible by N-Solar, a partnership between Sol Systems and Gen-Pro to help guarantee a locked-in price on their electricity from a renewable source.
